The specialist for services and technologies for the confidential and secure transmission of messages announces the extension of its Secure Messaging Services to include the electronic signature. Privasphere is expanding its existing partnership with Swisscom and is using the Swiss Trust Room collaboration platform, which specialises in confidentiality. Entries to authorities and courts using PDF documents as well as extensive electronic dossiers are thus legally possible in accordance with the Swiss Signature Act (ZertS).
“By expanding our services to include electronic signatures, we are already setting the course for new requirements that authorities and courts will face within the framework of Justitia 4.0,” says Roger Willen, Head of Sales and Marketing at Privasphere. Silvano Martin, Swisscom sales manager for Swiss Trust Room, adds: “Our two solutions are uncompromisingly geared towards confidentiality and maximum security in communications, so expanding our partnership was an obvious step.
Interaction of the solutions:
Documents are first signed in the Swiss Trust Room in a qualified manner (including multiple signatures with included signature workflow) and then forwarded to the federally recognised PrivaSphere delivery platform. PrivaSphere takes over the secure, legally binding delivery. With the combination of the two services, a continuous digital eGov input process is possible for the first time. The service will soon also be offered in compliance with eIDAS (EU). Thus, according to European law, submissions to authorities and courts throughout Europe can be made simply and legally compliant.
