When is the secure password set for the first time for the password and SMS code method (PWD/OTP)?
Usually, you receive an SMS with a link to the terms of use of Swisscom Signing Service after the identification process by either Smart Registration or RA app. When accepting the terms of use, you confirm them by setting a secure password and receiving a one-time code via SMS. This activates the password and SMS code method (PWD/OTP) as your future signature approval means. You will use the set password for every signing process in the future.
Kindly note that if you forget your set password, you must get re-registered for the electronic signature.
