SRS Video EU - video identification

SRS Video EU, in co-operation with our partner IDnow, is a video identification where a person gets identified in a secure video conference by a video agent. The identification method enables the identification and registration for: 

  • QES in the EU according to EU regulation eIDAS
  • AES in Switzerland according to Swiss Signature Act ZertES.

After successful video identification, a person can sign electronically for up to 5 years without re-registration.

Supported languages of video agents:

  • German, English, Croatian, French, and Spanish

Service hours of video agents:

  • German and English speaking video agents: Mon.-Sun.: 7 am - 12 am CET
  • French-speaking video agents: Mon. - Fri.: 8 am - 4 pm CET
  • Spanish speaking video agents: Mon.-Fri.: 2pm - 9 pm CET

So that you know, the waiting time for French and Spanish-speaking agents could take up to 6 minutes.

SRS Video EU supports the following ID documents:

  • ID cards of EU/EEA belonging to the Schengen area
  • all passports

Customers of SRS Video EU require a stable internet connection and a device with a microphone and webcam (desktop or mobile phone). In addition, please also take a look at the technical requirements for the customer side.
