Do you need any help with accepting your ID card or passport?

For the registration of electronic signatures, we only accept machine-readable ID cards from the EU/EEA area and Switzerland. For SRS eID, we only accept a valid German ID card.

Please note, that residence permits (CH), driving licenses and copies of ID cards are NOT accepted for identification and registration for the electronic signature.

However, it is also possible that the security features of your ID card or passport data could not be read out correctly. Make sure you have good lighting and try the identification again using the link in the confirmation e-mail (sender: Support Trust Services – GSD- TS).
