Passkey is the newest authentication means offered in the signing journey by Swisscom. How do you use passkey with your phone.
Creating a passkey on your phone involves a few straightforward steps, which may vary slightly depending on your device and operating system. Here's a general guide for both Android and iOS devices:
For Android Devices

Ensure Compatibility: Your Android device needs to be running at least Android 9.0 (Pie) and have biometric authentication (fingerprint or facial recognition) or a secure screen lock method (PIN or pattern) enabled.

Chose passkey as authentication mean in the signing process: Open the signing dialog and select passkey as authentication means. On the question, if you already have a passkey chose to register a new one. Then in the browser selection chose register passkey with you phone and scan the presented QR code with your phone. Please ensure that the Bluetooth communication of your phone is enabled.

Initiate Passkey Setup: If setting up a new account, select the option to create a passkey. If logging into an existing account, navigate to the account settings.

Secure Authentication: Authenticate using your device's screen lock method (e.g., fingerprint, facial recognition, or PIN).

Save the Passkey: The passkey will be stored in your selected password manager, such as Google Password Manager for Android versions 9–13, or a third-party manager for Android 14 and later.
For iOS Devices

Ensure Compatibility: Your iOS device needs to be running at least iOS 16.
