DocuSign: Why is the QES signature invalid when checking a validator?
If an electronic signature does not follow the requirements and rules of EU regulation eIDAS or Swiss federal law ZertES, the validator represents the signature as invalid. In addition to Swisscom QES, the DocuSign application adds an electronic seal by Entrust, which does not meet the legislation requirements in Switzerland and the EU. Nevertheless, the QES of Swisscom is still valid in court. Please don't hesitate to contact your DocuSign support to ensure the Entrust seal is removed so that validators show a positive result of your electronic signatures.
