Announcement: We hereby inform our valued customers about the postponement of the introduction of new terms of use for our signing service (All In Signing Service) for the EU jurisdiction, which was announced for March 2, 2026, to April 21, 2026.
Changes to the content:
Significant changes are:
Inclusion of the amended legal basis (EU: Regulation 2024/1183 Amendments to eIDAS)
Clarification of the maximum validity of an identification (5 years maximum)
Adjusted links to the repository
Note that one-shot signatures are also possible without using an authentication method due to the change in legislation
Inclusion of other means of authentication in the examples, e.g. passkey
Clarification of the exclusion of risks in the peripheral system (Internet, SMS)
Information and request to subscribe to the status page in order to be informed about changes to terms of use, incidents, etc.
Inclusion of the terms of use in simple language
Impact: From this point onwards, end users are shown the new terms of use during onboarding and presented with them for acceptance. This means that only new users must accept these terms of use.
Necessary actions:
Customers and partners who do not independently display our terms of use in their own flow and have them accepted by the end customer do not have to do anything. In this case, the terms of use will be displayed by Swisscom.
Customers and partners who display our terms of use in their flow and deliver them via the MAB interfaces are advised to check that the correct documents are attached (see note) and displayed to the user. Processes that go via the MAB interfaces (backend calls) must calculate and deliver the current document hashes (see note) as proof of acceptance of the terms of use.
If the implementation has been carried out in accordance with the specification, there is no need for action.
The implementation will take place with a "grace period" of 7 days from 21.04.2026. During this period, the existing terms of use can still be accepted. After that, only the new terms of use can be accepted. Thisgrace period is intended to give customers and partners enough time to take the new terms of use into account and implement them technically.
