Problem: Currently, difficulties may occur when recognizing newly issued German passports - both Android and iOS devices are affected.
Status: The cause has been identified and a solution has already been implemented. The updated RA app is currently undergoing quality testing and will be released shortly.
Until then, we recommend using the identity card or remote identification (Video-Ident or Auto-Ident).
