Announcement: Postponement of the signing service changeover to the new signing service (clone)

Written by Joseph Koenig | Mar 4, 2026 10:26:42 AM

Announcement: This status message affects all Multiple Authentication Broker (MAB ) users who are currently using the old ETSI Signing interface of the All-In Signing Service (AIS). The changeover to the new signing service, which was planned for 5 March EoB, has been postponed to 15 April EoB for organizational reasons.

We would like to ask our customers to pay close attention to the following additional information.

Impact: This is a configuration change on the Swisscom side only. This change should not trigger any need for action on the partner side. Nevertheless, we ask all partners to take note of the information below and to take appropriate measures. The work will be carried out without interruption.

Notes: If your integration conforms to our specifications, no action is required. This is a possible source of problems that should be checked to be on the safe side:

  1. Is the "AUD" parameter from the signing access token being used to address the correct signing endpoint? This should not refer to the "hardcoded" AIS endpoint ("https://ais.swisscom.com/AIS-Server/rs/v1.0/sign") in your signing application, but should be taken dynamically from the received Signing Access Token (SAD, in the parameter: "AUD") and applied. Further information on this can be found in the MAB Integration Guide (page 130) or the Quick Guides in the partner area. Example of the PAR request, under §4. Link to the Quick Guide

  2. If you have a test account, this was converted on February 19, as previously communicated.

  3. We also ask our partners to check whether the timeout for the signature response is sufficient and to increase it if necessary.

Necessary actions: No action necessary on the part of the partner if the instructions given have been observed and already implemented.
