As part of the release implemented yesterday evening, the option of pressing "password reset" in the password one-time code/SMS authentication procedure (PWD/OTP) was eliminated. This function was historically intended for special customer projects, but should not be used in standard operation, as resetting the password always requires a new registration, as you no longer have a valid 2-factor authentication for a QES that was shown during registration. On the contrary, this functionality led to increased support efforts both for the partner and for Swisscom. In principle, Swisscom always recommends the use of the Mobile ID (app) functionality - with the option of the biometric factor in the app, the risk of a forgotten password is also eliminated.
