Wallisellen/Zurich, 4 March 2026 - Swisscom Digital Trust, Swisscom's trust ecosystem with the subsidiaries Ajila AG and Swisscom Trust Services AG, is entering into a strategic partnership with the software manufacturer mesoneer AG. Together, the three companies will use their expertise to support financial institutions, insurance companies, and organizations in the secure and fully digital handling of customer processes. The cooperation combines regulatory and technical expertise with innovative solutions for digital identification, onboarding, and electronic signatures.
Ajila, another company from the Swisscom ecosystem, joins mesoneer's digital trust platform as a service provider. Ajila's solution complements the platform with an advanced feature for digitizing customer forms. The latter are the starting point for business-critical processes in many organizations, says Beat Steiner, CEO of Ajila. "Digitized forms in combination with trust services create a continuous flow of information. The Digital Trust platform thus covers the entire customer lifecycle - from onboarding and identification to legally valid signatures and integration into internal systems.
The resulting end-to-end digitalization not only reduces manual steps and shortens processing times but also minimizes risks, including human error and attempted fraud. Compliance is thus embedded directly into the processes rather than carried out as separate control steps. "Security and convenience are not a contradiction in terms," explains Ralf Jenzer, Head of Products at mesoneer. The joint solution shows how regulatory requirements and the customer experience can be combined. The target group of the digital trust platform is, therefore, organizations with high demands on security, compliance, and customer experience, especially banks and regulated companies.
Swisscom Trust Services, Ajila, and mesoneer are jointly pursuing the vision of a networked trust space in which digital identities, electronic signatures, and data can be used securely across national and technical borders. "We are thus enabling financial institutions and companies to experience trust as real digital added value," says Mario Voge, Head of Growth Management at Swisscom Trust Services. With the upcoming European Digital Identity (EUDI) wallet in mind, the three companies also want to further strengthen interoperability and cross-border use of digital trust mechanisms. With the Digital Trust platform, they are creating the basis for secure, compliant, and convenient digital customer experiences.
